The Board of Warrantti
At Warrantti’s autumn meeting in November, the association’s board of directors is elected each year and is responsible for the practical running of the association.The Board consists of 12 members, each of whom plays an important role in ensuring the Association’s operation. The Chair of the Board
Chair of the board represents Warrantti to various stakeholders, such as Univeristy of Vaasa, VYY and Suomen Ekonomit. Conducts the meetings and coordinates the activities of the board. Plans Warrantti’s activities in the long term and makes sure that the strategy and plan of actions are taken into account. Represents in the network of Chairpersons of business student associations. Attends meetings of Vaasan ekonomit. Coordinaters the operations of Warrantti´s hyvikset. Leads Perinneseura and is a member of different project groups such as the strategy project group.
The Vice Chair & Educational Affairs Manager
The Vice Chair represents Warrantti in educational matters at various university meetings and within academic units. They also regularly meet with the heads of educational affairs of VYY and other student organizations. The Vice Chair also handles course feedback and can be contacted for any education-related issues. Responsibilities of the Vice Chair include organizing the Member Survey in the fall, the Survey on business studies, and the Wellbeing Survey in the spring, as well as reporting on the results. The Vice Chair works closely with the Chair in both the advocacy sector and the leadership of the board. If the Chair of the board is unavailable, the Vice Chair represents Warrantti and leads the board meetings.
Operative Manager
The Operative Manager is responsible for the use and maintenance of the W-room. Acts as a liaison between the clubs and the the Board of Warrantti, as well as the Master’s. Also contributes to the completion of the space project.
Marketing Manager
Schedules social media updates and is primarily responsible for updating channels such as Instagram and Facebook. Collects and compiles Warrantti’s Weekly newsletter both on Instagram and the one sent by e-mail. Is responsible for updating the exam archive and website with the Media Manager. Acts as a secretary for the fall- and spring meetings and weekly meetings of the board. Leads the Marketing Division.
Corporate Relations Managers
Responsible for Warrantti’s business cooperation, i.e. ensuring that the terms and conditions of the cooperation agreements are met. Negotiate agreements and develop cooperation with companies. Creating opportunities for Warrantti members to meet potential employers. Acts as leaders of the corporate relations division. There are two Corporate Relations Managers on the 2025 Board.
Treasurer
Responsible for Warrantti’s payment transactions, accounts and bookkeeping. Prepares the annual budget, financial statements and is responsible for Warrantti’s products. Leads the Financial Division.
Media Manager
Responsible for the content and visual look of Wykyzine, Warrantti’s magazine. Leads the editorial team of Wykyzine. Manages Warrantti’s podcast, W-podi. Is responsible for updating the exam archive and website with the Marketing Manager. Also is the International Manager. Leads the Media Division and International Work Group.
Head of Social Affairs
Responsible for Warrantti’s tutors. Leads the sports and culture division, LiikKu.
Chair of NESU
Coordinates the board of NESU-Waasa. Responsible for almost all Warrantti’s sitz parties.
Project Manager & Event Manager
The Project Manager and the Event Manager are jointly in charge of Warrantti’s parties and events. The events include, for example, Kylteriäiset – an event for first year students of Warrantti. In addition to this, various rallies, cross-faculty parties, as well as events in other cities, and many other events are part of the scope. In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for the Event Coordinators and teams of Wykypäivät and the Annual ball. The Event Manager is responsible of Warrantti’s Fondis Oy Ab cooperation, as well as the Event coordinators and team of RannikkoApprot.
