Major Clubs
The purpose of major clubs is to promote the work-life orientation and the team spirit of students in each major. There are 7 major clubs. A major club is a team of about 2-5 people that organizes opportunities for students to get to know different companies and make contacts in the business world. Major clubs are lead by the student representatives of units. Learn more about major clubs below!
Business Management - Bosse
Bosse is the majors club of all Business Management students in University of Vaasa, regardless of academic class
freshers who are interested in the study programme of management are also welcome. Majors’ club’s operation will be coordinated by the student representative of the programme, Mette Elopuro. We intend to organize events, excursions and find other ways to improve the community of business management studies.
We want to improve our activity and receive feedback and ideas, and we frequently co-operate also with the faculty members of Uwasa. Follow us on Instagram

Marketing - WISIO
WISIO is a major club for Marketing students of University of Vaasa.
WISIO is aiming to create new ways to prepare the students for the working life and help them to network with other Marketing students, companies and the University faculty. Our values are equality, cohesion, innovativeness and the courage to try new things. WISIO activates the Marketing students by organizing fun events, such as MarkCafe and excursions. International Business - The IB Club
The IB Club is a major club for bachelor’s and master’s students studying International Business and Strategic Business Development.
The IB Club targets to increase networking among our students by organizing events related to students’ free time and working life. The IB Club gives students the opportunity to talk about current business topics, share experiences from internships or work life as well as provide tips and advice about cultural differences or the job application process, to name just a few. We encourage students to be involved in planning and organizing so do not be afraid to contact us! Accounting and finance - W-Capital
W-Capital is the all new major club for accounting and finance majors.
The University of Vaasa offers a unique combination of accounting and finance as a major at the Bachelor’s level, which makes our studies uniquely versatile and of high quality. This is why we decided to combine the strengths of our accounting and finance major clubs into one club, and from the end of 2022 we will operate under the name W-Capital! We bring accounting and finance students together by organising networking events, job-oriented events, case days and excursions. Our activities are constantly taking shape and we are creating a culture of our club in small steps. So come and join our the events of the largest major club to enjoy being together and networking with fellow students, companies and our professors!

Business Law - Momentti
Momentti is the major club for business law.
The purpose of the major club is to increase the sense of community among students majoring in business law. Momentti also tries to advance working life skills by organizing various events. The leaders of the major club, i.e. student representatives, also act as a link between students and faculty. Through Momentti you have the opportunity to network with other business law students by participating in our casual events and possibly make new contacts in business life through various excursions. Mia Eklund and Isla Jokinen are currently working as student representatives in Momentti.

Economics - W-Economics
W-Economics is a club for economics majors.
W-Economics seeks to bring together major students in economics by organizing casual events such as Christmas parties and coffee gatherings. Furthermore, the goal is to organize work-life-related company visits. We also organize the traditional Economics study trip abroad that is arranged every year. Industrial management and information systems - Prosessi
Warrantti’s latest Major Club Prosessi is for industrial management and information systems students.
Prosessi is led by student representatives from industrial management and information systems. Prosessi aims to bring together students from industrial management and information systems departments by organizing both work-related and other events. The club was founded in 2021, and new ideas and active people are more than welcome to join! Anniina Kylkisalo, Ilona Kemppinen, Heta Mäenpää and Wellamo Viitaniemi are currently working as student representatives in Prosessi.
